Klinta Kalneja. Born in 1989 in the small Latvian town of Cesvaine.

A human photographer — someone who captures not only faces, but the essence of the soul.

 

Her work lives somewhere between a dream and reality — a timeless space where sensuality, beauty, and emotion merge together. Deeply intuitive and a hopeless romantic, Klinta creates photographs that gently open parts of you that may have been forgotten, unseen, or simply needed to be reminded of their existence.

 

Photography, like music, tarot cards, and cats, has been with Klinta since her teenage years. Capturing people and the world around her is an endless journey — it never gets boring, because there is always more to discover. Recently, she has found joy in photographing flowers she encounters during her daily walks. Each one feels like a tiny universe. You just have to look.

 

As a devoted hermit at heart, photography has become Klinta’s way of connecting — with other human beings, with nature, and with herself. It’s her shadow, quietly following her wherever she goes. Without it, life feels a little less vibrant, a little more gray.

 

Like many artists, Klinta is deeply self-reflective. Step by step, she is slowly shaping her first personal exhibition — a tender process of sharing her inner world with others. Let’s patiently wait together.
